At Texas Discovery Gardens, we like to use resources like water wisely. A good example of water wise gardening is our Master Gardeners’ Garden. This Garden is maintained by volunteers from the Dallas County Master Gardeners. This garden saves 40% of annual water usage compared to gardens of similar size.
What make it effective?
1. Use of water wise plants - that means incorporating native species that can stand up to the crazy Texas weather.
2. Use of drip tubing - this watering system allows for more effective watering.
