Enjoy a delightful and captivating story, The Honeybee Highway. Taste local honey, try on beekeeping equipment, test your queen-bee-finding abilities, and take home a signed book. 🐝 Fun family event!

Step into the garden for a summer of stories, creativity, and nature-inspired fun at Texas Discovery Gardens!
Join us for Once Upon a Garden, a special summer storytime series featuring guest children’s book authors reading their stories, signing books, and leading a themed craft or interactive activity connected to the book. Each storytime is designed for young children and families to enjoy a calm, creative, and engaging experience surrounded by the beauty of the gardens.
Storytimes are included with the price of daily admission, but registration is required to reserve your spot.

All storytimes take place from 11:00–11:30 a.m.

Storytime with Asia Vine
Author of the Chocolate and Dot Children’s Book Series
This interactive storytime may include movement, music, simple songs, and bubbles for sensory play.

Storytime with Mary Frances Baker
Enjoy a garden-themed storytime, book signing, and craft.

Wednesday, July 15
Storytime with Debra Raso O’Connor
Featured book: Annabelle Bee and the Butterfly Tree
Enjoy a garden-themed storytime, book signing, and craft.

Wednesday, July 22
