Homeschool Days Reservations 2025-26
Our Homeschool Days programs are specifically designed for children of all ages to foster a love for nature and science. Each session explores a unique topic and includes a variety of engaging activities such as hands-on experiments, crafts, animal interactions, and private tours. While Homeschool Days are typically held on the first Thursday of every month from 1 PM to 3 PM, some dates may be adjusted due to holidays. These programs are complimentary for members, while non-members can participate with the regular cost of admission. If you regularly attend Homeschool Days, consider purchasing a membership to enjoy these enriching experiences at no additional cost.
Our Homeschool Days programs’ structure is designed to provide a fun and hands-on learning experience for students. From 1-2 PM, the schedule includes an introduction, a topic discussion or lesson, and a hands-on activity or experiment. Following this, from 2-3 PM, activities may include a craft, an animal interaction, or a private tour to expand on the lesson. These activities are flexible and can include any of the listed activities to ensure a rich educational experience. Homeschoolers may come before or stay after programming time to enjoy our botanical gardens, the tropical butterfly house and reptile shack. We ask that you reserve a spot using this form for any Homeschool Days you wish to attend, so we have the correct number of materials.
For those reserving your spot as a member – proof of your active membership will be checked at entry.
