Summer Camps 2026

Welcome to Summer Camps at Texas Discovery Gardens!

At Texas Discovery Gardens, our summer camps are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and foster a lifelong connection to nature. Campers explore the living world through hands-on science, outdoor discovery, and creative problem- solving, guided by experienced educators in a fun, supportive environment. We teach through engaging storylines and imaginative play, allowing campers to step into the roles of explorers, scientists, and conservationists throughout the week. Campers can earn and collect gems for participation and positive choices, which they can later spend at the Critter Store, helping reinforce early math skills, responsibility, and decision-making in a fun way. Activities take place primarily on our campus, with thoughtful pacing to keep campers comfortable in the summer heat and flexible plans that adapt to weather conditions. Whether your child is meeting animal ambassadors up close, investigating habitats, or learning how people can protect the natural world, each camp offers meaningful experiences rooted in exploration, stewardship, and fun.

Cost for ages 4-12:

• Non-Members $355
• Members 10% off, Member # required: $319.50

Teens Camp Cost (Ages 13-17):

• Non-Members: $200
• Members 10% off, Member # required: $175

Time: 9 am to 3 pm (for all camps with the exception of Teen Camp, see details below)

Extended Care:

• Before Care Drop off 8:00-8:15 am $50
• After Care ending at 5:30 pm $50
• Please be aware that a $15 late pickup fee will be charged if campers are not picked up by the designated pickup time. This policy helps ensure our staff can manage their schedules effectively.

Lunch: We will provide a catered box lunch daily to make things easier for our busy parents. Vegetarian options are available. If your child will not be participating in the provided lunch for the week, please pack their lunch and a snack each day. Let us know in advance so we can minimize food waste. If you opt out of lunch, you cannot opt in, as orders will already be placed beforehand.

Snacks: Various snacks, including fruit, granola bars, crackers, and fruit leather, will be available daily. If your child has specific food preferences, please pack something they will enjoy.
