Plant Sale Information
Please check back soon for information
on the next plant sale!
Our volunteers and staff work throughout the year to bring you a fantastic selection of plants for our sales! If you are looking for tough-to-find Texas natives, caterpillar host plants, or nectar-producing flowers to attract hummingbirds to your patio, we have it!
A plant availability list will be posted one week before the sale. Please make your shopping list by the botanical name.
If you are a member, please have your member number ready. If you do not have your number, or if your membership has expired, please renew online, call us in the weeks leading up to the sale, renew at our members’ table at the sale, or use the QR code posted at the sale.
Please let Fair Park parking attendants know that you are here for the plant sale. Free parking is available in lot 8, the Dos XX lot across Pennsylvania from the TDG Greenhouse. Enter Fair Park’s Gate 6 at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, turn right, drive to Pennsylvania and make a left, then Lot 8 will be on your right.
We work very hard to make an accurate availability list. It will be posted one week before the sale.
Please note: we may also sell out of some plants during the sale.
The fine print:
You are welcome to bring your own cart. Our garden carts are for staff and volunteers to assist shoppers out the gate with their purchases.
The plants are arranged in groups according to their characteristics. We have a map at the sale to help you navigate.
When you find plants, please place them in a black plastic crate under a number. When you have filled your crates to overflowing, please find a person with a clipboard to write a sales ticket. Take the ticket to the cashier to pay. Remember to bring the paid tag to collect your plants.
We do our very best to make sure plants on the list are available, but sometimes they do not look good enough for the sale and we remove them. Also, we may sell out of some plants during the sale.
Please bring your own trunk liners or cardboard if you are concerned about soil in your vehicle.
If you are purchasing for a non-profit, please bring a paper copy of the tax exempt form.
